G. Ivan Hannel is an civil trial attorney living in California with his wife, an artist, 11 year old son, and four cats and a disobedient dog. Ivan Hannel grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. His parents were psychologists and educators. Growing up, Ivan attended a Jesuit high school in Phoenix and then graduated from Yale University in 1993 and Northwestern Law School in 1996. After law school, he worked in education and is the author of a book on using questioning strategies to get students more involved in their own learning. He is the general counsel for a national staffing company and head of litigation for an Arizona law firm. He is Lue Elizondo’s attorney and is also part of the newly formed Disclosure Advocacy Group (DAG), a non-profit that focuses on helping individuals and organizations working for disclosure. Ivan believes “American CAN handle the truth” and ufology must learn to work cooperatively, not competitively to bring disclosure to the American people.
